Don't turn me away
To leave me in the cold
Banished from your sight
With no one to hold.

I am only human
When broken my heart does bleed
I only crave a human emotion
Driven from a lonely need.

Don't turn me away
To be cast out in to despair
With a longing in my heart
For a warm love to share.

Being alone is misery
Its a slow creeping death
That swallows the soul completely
And suffocates the spirit of breath.

Don't turn me away
For it is heartless and cruel
To kill by avoidance
Supplied with hatreds fuel.

All I ask of thee
Is something that I need
To feel a beating heart
Backed up with a promised creed.

Don't turn me away
Hold me next to thee
Warm me with loves flame
With I love you's, said so tenderly.

Let me feel alive
To bask in your love sincere
Knowing my life has meaning
Let me love again without fear.
