How I Feel | dreampoet's Blog

I remember when I was just a guy with no degree. I had friends it seemed. I would get a call and they said "Hello" Whats up?.  I used to go out and do things with friends.  When I started to get that degree I started to date more.  My last GF called me her " IT GUY".  I thought it was cute.  I felt proud and felt like I was doing something in my life.  Don't get me wrong, I don't mind helping at all.   But now here lately it has changed somehow.  With the exception of a few (and they know who they are).  It seems I have gone from friend to Computer Mechanic.  They don't have the time  to say "Hello" or How was your day?.  Its now, "My Router doesn't work" or "My Printer doesn't work".  "Or can you come over and fix this?"  Here recently I did work for a friend and she was so grateful and said she would pay me.  Well that has been about a month now. She is never there to talk to and I hardly get a call.  I feel so used.  So to my TRUE friends I want to say thank you for being a friend, when I needed you.
